Olivia Turner brings experience, purpose, and a whole lot of heart to Eastern Shore Dance Academy. She teaches Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pre-Ballet, Creative Movement, and Baby Ballet, and has been dancing for 25 years—with lyrical as her favorite style.

Olivia loves watching each dancer grow not only in technique, but as individuals. For her, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing students flourish in confidence as they work toward and achieve their goals. In every class, she hopes students discover their voice through movement and learn to embrace who they are—because, as she believes, we’re all uniquely made and learning to celebrate that is one of the most important lessons dance can teach.

Her teaching style is disciplined, driven, energetic, and loving, creating an environment where dancers feel supported and challenged in the best way. When she’s not in the studio, you can find Olivia coaching a dance team or spending time in the garden. Her favorite reminder says it all: “Where there is dance, there is joy!!”
